Gado Gado

Oil or ghee for frying
Potatoes, peeled and sliced into thin “French fries” strips
White cabbage, shredded into small strips
Carrots, shredded into small strips
Green beans
Cucumber, cut into strips
Bean sprouts
Salt
Pepper

Sauté each of the ingredients separately in oil in a frying pan until tender-crisp.
Combine all sautéed vegetables in a bowl, season with salt and pepper and toss.

Serve vegetables over rice noodles with peanut sauce (see sauce section).
