Homemade Dill Pickles

3 cu water
1 cup vinegar
1/6 c salt
4 tbs dried dill
1 tsp sugar
1 tbs mustard seeds and or celery seeds
1 tps caraway seeds

5-8 pickling cucumbers cut into spears

In a sauce pan, bring all ingredients except cucumbers to a boil. Add cucumbers and let boil for 10 seconds then immediately remove from the heat and let cool completely. Pour mixture into a clean jar or plastic container and keep in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
